This is what Filipino dish is all about.& I had 2 cups of rice. Ultimately Pinoy Kare-Kare & artery-blocking Sisig. =P  The best Kare-Kare I’ve had was at Kagay-anon Restaurant at  Rosario Arcade, Limketkai Drive. For the Sisig, I’m torn between Gerry’s Grill & Butcher’s Best.

seafood a.k.a scavenger

It really takes a lot of discipline to avoid seafoods,though i still eat once in a blue moon because God knows how much i love crabs, curacha, shrimps & scallops. And why am i steering away from them? Because sea creature that has no fins or scales, and possesses a shell, is an aquatic anthropod belonging to the family of crustaceans. Anthropods which include caterpillars, cockroaches, and spiders.

Crustaceans are ocean bugs —- scavengers.  Shrimp thrives off of eating the flesh of dead creatures. They are bottom feeders and have digestive systems designed to absorb TOXINS from the water. They naturally absorb all the toxins in the water they live in. Fish have scales and toxins are released through their scales.Clams, lobster, shrimp, crabs, mussels and squid do not have scales or fins and are believed to be highly toxic. 

That’s it! & that’s why. Eat in moderation. Anything in excess is harmful.
